
Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Always Best Nanny, we are committed to providing professional and reliable caregiver placement services. We understand that plans can change, and this Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines how cancellations and refund requests are handled.

1. Consultation Fees
All initial consultation or registration fees are non-refundable. These fees cover administrative and screening costs incurred by Always Best Nanny at the start of the service relationship.

2. Placement Fees
Placement fees are charged once a family chooses to hire a nanny or caregiver introduced through Always Best Nanny.

Non-Refundable After Placement: Once a caregiver has accepted the position and started working, placement fees are non-refundable.

Pre-Start Withdrawal: If a caregiver cancels prior to starting and no replacement is found within a reasonable time, a partial refund or credit toward future placement may be issued at our discretion.​

3. Replacement Guarantee
We offer a [30/60/90-day] replacement period (choose your guarantee window). If the caregiver leaves the position or is terminated with just cause within this period:

We will offer one (1) replacement search at no additional cost, provided the client has:

Paid all placement fees in full;
-
Complied with agreed-upon work terms;
-
Not changed the job duties or work environment in a way that contributed to the departure.

If a suitable replacement cannot be found, no monetary refund will be issued.

4. Cancellation by Client
If a client cancels the search:

Before candidate interviews begin: A partial refund may be issued minus a $100–$200 administrative fee.

After candidate interviews have started but before placement: No refund will be provided.​

5. Cancellation by Caregiver
If a placed caregiver cancels before starting:

We will begin a new search promptly at no additional cost;

If no replacement is secured within [X] days, a credit toward a future placement may be offered.​

6. Service Hold or Delay
If a client wishes to place a temporary hold on the search:

Notice must be provided in writing;
-
We can pause the search for up to 30 days;
-
After 30 days, the case may be closed, and no refund will be given.​

7. No-Show or Client Unresponsiveness
If a client repeatedly fails to respond, misses scheduled interviews, or halts communication for 14 consecutive days:

We reserve the right to close the case;
-
No refund will be given for lost time or effort.​

8. Changes to This Policy
Always Best Nanny reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and effective immediately upon update.
